Quadoro Lets over 10,000 m² of Office Space to City Government

As asset manager of the ICC Business Centre office building in Duisburg, Quadoro Investment GmbH has let 10,700 m² of space to the local government. The office space will be used by the social welfare and public order authority. The building, which was acquired in November 2020, is part of the property portfolio of the sustainable special fund Quadoro Sustainable Real Estate Europe.

The office building was constructed in 2022. It is located near the main railway station and borders the city centre pedestrian zone. With a total lettable area of over 16,000 m², divided into six upper floors and two basement floors, the building is currently let to several companies.

The City of Duisburg's decision to rent the property was a direct result of the building’s use of district heating, accessibility, flexibly configurable office space, and excellent infrastructure and transport links, all of which reinforce the building’s sustainability.

Matthias Altenrichter, Head of Asset Management and Claudio Avellino, Asset Manager of the property at Quadoro, commented on the letting: "This contract is the largest transaction on the Duisburg property market in 2023. We look forward to welcoming the City of Duisburg as a new tenant in 2024."

RUHR REAL GmbH acted as broker for the transaction.
