Doric Begins the New Academic Year with Dual Students

To secure its next generation of professionals, the Doric Group is cooperating with the University of Cooperative Education in Rödermark.

On 1 October 2020, three students started their first dual study programme in business administration at the Doric Group with a focus on Banking & Finance.

Parallel to the dual business studies programme, Doric is also training investment managers in cooperation with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Both the dual study and the trainee programme consist of theoretical and practical phases. In addition to sound academic knowledge, Doric’s junior employees therefore gain valuable hands-on experience.

After the Welcome Day on 1 October at the university campus in Rödermark, the classic trainees and dual students met for a get-together at the Doric Group in Offenbach for an initial exchange of experiences and expectations. The event at Doric was rounded off by a keynote lecture on “learning/memory training” and a joint lunch.

Bernd Reber, Managing Director and founding partner of the Doric Group, commented on the start of the course: “At the Doric Group, education and training are high priorities. We wish our trainees and dual students every success and look forward to working with them. For the 2021 winter semester, we are already planning to take on additional dual students in the business studies programme – again with a focus on banking and finance – and also in the business IT programme.“

Further information on applying for the Doric Group dual study programme can be found at Careers - Doric.

On 28 October 2020, from 4-6 pm, the Doric Group will participate in the Speed Dating event at the Rödermark University of Cooperative Education.
